Today we were chatting about the conclusions of our UN Summit and discussed the idea around why might nations choose to involve themselves within situations around our globe, or stand on the sidelines and wait until a resolution was brought about through time.

We actually ended up discussing nuclear weapons and their storied history post-WWII. Here is a fun link to watch while teaching about the history of the Cold War. Well, maybe not fun, but very interesting and thought provoking to see how many nuclear weapons have been tested over the course of the last 65ish years. enjoy!!
